  • The 24th Annual Meadow Gold Healthy Baby Contest takes place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 20th at Prince Kuhio Plaza
  • Babies born on or between April 10, 2010 and October 20, 2011 and are residents of the Big Island are eligible to enter.
  • All contestants receive a goodie bag containing a Healthy Baby Contest non-sliding (with rubber grip on the bottom) covered container for their Cheerios or other munchies with plastic spork, and Lani Moo t-shirt with colored fabric markers to color-in Lani Moo (the colored ink washes off so they get to color-in Lani Moo again and again), Lani Moola certificate for a FREE one gallon Meadow Gold or Viva milk. When they exit the stage they get a Lani Moo balloon, and HP milk and POG nectar.
  • The five winners will receive trophies, toys and books that promote brain and physical development, and supplies of Meadow Gold milk, POG, and ice cream cups. (First place: one-year supplies; second place: 9-month supplies; third place: 6-month supplies; fourth place: 3-month supplies; fifth place: 2-month supplies.)
  • The contestants are judged on Healthiness, Physical Appearance, and Personality by a panel of medical and health care professionals from Hilo Medical Center and the Bay Clinics. The registration deadine is Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
